Dry needling is a technique that eliminates Trigger Points in muscles. This method is often very helpful and can be less painful than manual trigger point therapy. Using a tiny filament needle; same as acupuncturists, it is placed into the located trigger point for a short amount of time and can aid in decrease in pain, muscle relaxation & improve range of movement.
We offer sports strapping at a competitive rate on weekends as well. Sports strapping decreases the chance of injury through mechanical reinforcement, feedback and confidence. Application of sports tape can also correct bad habits in posture & improve sports performance.
We understand that there is life to love beyond injuries, which is why we manage to facilitate pain management and rehabilitation techniques for a smooth and early return to meaningful mobility.
The healing properties of hydrotherapy are based on both the heat of the water and the body’s movement through the resistance of it.
Nerves carry what is felt by the skin deeper into the body, where it is then vital in stimulating the immune system, influencing the production of stress hormones, improving circulation and digestion, encouraging the flow of blood, and lessening the body’s sensitivity to pain. When submerged in a body of water such as a bath or a pool, there is a kind of weightlessness, as the water relieves your body of much of the effects of gravity.
Hydrotherapy can help manage conditions affecting joint, muscle and nerve problems as well as arthritis and chronic pain.
